With autumn around the corner, I wanted them to have a bit more warmth and substance, so we added a full lining and seeing as they’re made by a traditional British hat maker, it seemed only right to take a little inspiration from probably the most British piece of headwear there is — the flat cap.
I’ve always loved illustrations and for a long time I’ve wanted to incorporate that side of Saint Talisman into the clothing itself. So for these caps, I finally chose one of my own designs and had it stitched directly into the lining — a detail you won’t necessarily see when it’s being worn, but you know it’s there.
The result is something simple, understated and very much Saint Talisman.
